Gerry is probably one of the  SHHS classmates many of us would see on our visits back to Shaker, because who could return without a stop at Draegers? She was always cordial and worked hard (side by side with her husband), to keep the store going, She even made sure we had small bottles of the fudge sauce to take home from one of our big reunions. Although Draegers may no longer be there, it will always remain in our memories....as will Gerrry.

Gerry was my dear childhood friend.  Every memory I have of growing up in Shaker Heights includes activities with Gerry.  My heart goes out to her family and all who knew and loved her.

Gerry always had a special treat for me whenever I came into the store!!I raised my kids in Shaker and they were favorites of hers and she always had a treat for them!! I think it's because she had no children of her own that she took to everyone's children the way she did. We were so sad to see the store close but I still have a jar of the fudge she brought for everyone at our reunion. Condolences to Fred

It was impossible not to love Gerry.  We were in homeroom together throughout the years.  And there was Gerry at Draeger's serving everyone after dancing school.  No small feat.  She was such a special human being who will be missed by many.  RIP.

Gerry was always optimistic and fun to be around. The world has lost a loving person. My thoughts are with Fred and Barry.

So sorry about Gerry.  She used to welcome me at Draegers like I was a guest coming to her home.  In a way I guess I was.  We all were.
