I knew Karen in kindergarten at Moreland school. She was a brownie in the same group I was in and she always had a very upbeat personality and very funny. Please let her memory be a blessing to anyone who knew her. Rest easy and in peace. Judy

Karen was a good friend of mine in elementary school- a very jovial gal!  In 1960, we were wearing different buttons during the presidential race, so we made a 25 cent bet on the outcome of the election.  Kennedy, my choice, won  and Karen cheerfully paid up!   I hadn't been in touch with her at all since Shaker days and hope that she had the good life that she deserved.   My condolences to her family and friends.

Karen lived on the next street over from me. After we graduated from Shaker we use to ride the rapid downtown to go to work. We often sat together, she was such a sweet, intelligent person with a great sense of humor. The last time I spoke to Karen was at our last High School reunion. She loved telling puzzle stories and when you could not figure it out she would let out a big laugh and give you a clue. RIP Karen you left many footprints on our class of 1965.

Karen was such a positive person.  We were friends in high school and college and I just talked to her a couple of weeks ago. We had a number of parallels in our lives and even took a couple of vacations together.  I can't believe she is gone.  I really miss her.  The world was a better place because Karen was in it.

I was sad to hear of Karen's passing. I didn't now her well n High School, but we were n Y-teens and Shaker Peppers. Karen had a beautiful smile, and was ONE of the NICEST people !!!  I agree with Susan Bowerman, the world was a better place wth Karen here!  My condolences to her loved ones.

I remember Karen fondly.  I am grateful that I was able to spend some quality time with her at our 50th Reunion. She had a good heart and a fun sense of humor!  She will be missed.  Rennie and I send our sympathies to her friends and family

Karen lived five houses down from me when I first moved to Shaker, and we hung out most every day together until that X and Y factor started kicking in. I’ll always remember her as a good friend, and very caring toward others. At both of our last reunions I found myself spending blocks of time hanging out with her and reacquainting myself with the comfortable relationship we had as youngsters. It was a memorable and cherished part of my reunion experience. My wife passed away a few months ago, and each time I see a classmatepassing on, I now remember all of the health aphorisms our parents used to espouse. If you’ve got your health, you’ve got everything important. Hoping everyone is taking good care of themselves through the pandemic, physically and mentally. Cherish each day, So that we may go to sleep thinking our world is a better place for how we lived this day.

I'm very saddened by the passing of Karen. While we were not great friends and haven't kept in touch she was such a great person who for some reason always tried to make me laugh and fix me up with someone. She was one of the most caring and thoughtful person I knew in HS and the world will miss her greatly., May she rest in peace.
