Eric Krumlauf

ERIC J. “Rick” KRUMLAUF SR. 55, of Springfield, died Saturday November 16, 2002 in his residence. He was born January 6, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio the son of George P. and Mary (Kinson) Krumlauf. Rick was former owner and operator of Shawnee Tool & Equipment Company. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, University Club, past member of the Springfield Rotary Club, and the Springfield Country Club. He was also co-founder of the Springfield Select Soccer Club (now Springfield Thunder) and the Dayton United Soccer Club.  
Rick is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary P. (Clement) “Pixie” Krumlauf, his mother, Mary (Kinson) Krumlauf of Shaker Heights, one daughter, Kristi A. Krumlauf of Columbus, one son, Eric J. Krumlauf Jr. of Cincinnati, one sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Ian Frieberg of Shaker Heights, and one niece Morissa Frieberg. He was preceded in death by his father. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, Novermber 19, 2002 from 5-8 pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, SPRINGFIELD.  
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 20 at 1:30 pm in the Covenant Presbyterian Church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Rescue Center, 403 Selma Rd., Springfield, 45505 or the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 201 N. Limestone St., Springfield, 45503.
