Debbra Shapiro Brown

I am a working Muti Media artist. Having always loved all things that are gentle, kind, nature oriented - looking at the world is always a canvass. Although this has been great for me in my adult life, sitting in a chair and looking out the windows, during all classes except art, didn't serve me very well as a student. I would have been much happier if Shaker had a Shaker School of the Arts, as does Cleveland now.
I was only at Shaker for my senior year and in spite of what i wrote above I loved every minute there. Shaker was and continues to be kind, helpful, educationally superior and accepting of all students. We have two grandchildren in the Shaker School system and they are flourishing.
